Starting from <strong>August 1, 2025<\/strong>, <strong>random inspections<\/strong> will be introduced for certain import and export goods that were previously not subject to mandatory inspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Purpose of the measure<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strengthening <strong>consumer rights<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring <strong>public safety<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Protecting <strong>public health<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The legal basis is the <em>\u201cLaw of the People\u2019s Republic of China on Import and Export Commodity Inspection\u201d<\/em> including its implementing provisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Affected product categories<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Imports<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u5b66\u751f\u6587\u5177 (School supplies)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u5a74\u7ae5\u7528\u54c1 (Baby and children\u2019s products)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u7535\u5b50\u4ea7\u54c1 (Electronic products)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u5bb6\u7528\u7535\u5668 (Household appliances)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u4f4e\u538b\u7535\u5668 (Low-voltage electrical devices)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u65e5\u7528\u9970\u54c1 (Daily-use accessories)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exports<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u513f\u7ae5\u73a9\u5177 (Children\u2019s toys)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u706f\u5177 (Lighting products)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u4f4e\u538b\u7535\u5668 (Low-voltage electrical devices)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u529f\u80fd\u6027\u670d\u88c5 (Functional clothing)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>With the entry into force of this new regulation, the previously applicable <strong>Announcement No. 163\/2024<\/strong> will be repealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Further details:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.interrail.ag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Important-Notice-Regarding-the-New-Regulation-by-the-Chinese-Customs-Authority.pdf\">PDF Download<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On July 17, 2025, the Chinese Customs Authority issued Announcement No. 150\/2025.
