Since August 1st, Hendrik Wehlen, 39, has been Head of Sales at InterRail Europe GmbH, Germany, as the successor of Carsten Pottharst, who was appointed to the Management on May 1st. Also since August, Schu-Chinh Ly, 34, has been responsible for the Operations & Administration sector.
In his new position, Hendrik Wehlen is responsible for all sales activities Europe-wide, among them customer acquisition, key account customer care as well as the development of existing business. In the past 17 years, Wehlen worked in different segments of the forwarding and logistics industry, among others as Key Account Manager and Director Marketing; he comes with lots of experience in these fields.
As head of Operations and Administration, Schu-Chinh Ly is responsible for the planning, control and continual optimization of operative processes. In the past five years, Schu-Chinh Ly was with DB Schenker Rail Automotive in Key Account Management, Sales and Operations; she was in charge of the development and supervision of rail and logistics services from Europe to the CIS and China, and vice versa.
